    A quick note from Mike: The subject matter the next two weeks are about the recent WTC bombings. I know that this might be a bit too much for some of you, and for that, I apologize from the bottom of my heart. It's too much for me, sometimes. But, it's something I think should be told. This event effects every single one of us, including the fictional characters in Everything Jake. My life has changed, so now theirs will. I put a finite number of parts on it so you know when it will end. I did this because I know some people might not want to read it, and so they know when to come back (if they want to at all, a risk I'm taking). I'm not going to draw any of the explosions or the resulting damage. I don't feel it's needed, especially since everyone had seen it over and over again and, I think, it doesn't fit the story. I'm trying as hard as I could not to make light of it or exploit it in anyway. Some of you might think that I have the whole story layed out monthes ahead, but that is not the case all the time. I didn't have anything written for today for about two weeks (I had drawn ahead last Monday until last Saturday, that's why I kept the weed storyline, as embarassing as it was this week). I chose to write about this because it touched me, the human side of it, and I felt it was the only thing I could write about. Jokes and storylines about TK abilites or evil geeks just didn't seem right to me. Yeah, I'll get back to it, after this is done. Faith is never going to be the same, none of them are going to be the same, I am not going to be the same. So please, just bear with me. I'm sorry if I offeneded some of you looking for an escape. It is not my intention to do so. Mike
