Thanks everyone for reading! Here’s some text. – M) Everything Jake. #951 The coughing made the smoke seem easy. I can’t describe it. For a long time I sat here in front of this paper and tried to describe the immense pain the coughing brought me, but I don’t have the words. I just don’t have the words. I can, however, explain what happen to me after I stopped. Three broken ribs, one of my lungs partially did collapse, and I broke a blood vessel in my eye. I have not touched a cigarette since and never will again. I was only coughing for maybe five minutes. Roy talked to me the whole time, explaining everything. His eye wasn’t Kelly Rose’s (though he did believe that the Kelly they had found was my Kelly’s twin, the truth being that he was his “twinner” from another dimension…). Dark Kelly (as we called him) had appeared out of no where, this much was true, and they did capture him and try to find out why he was immune to most telepathic attacks. Dark Kelly helped as much he could in exchange for a safe return home (wherever that was...). Roy didn’t say whether they returned him home or if he was still being held at Plum Island. I never bothered to ask. Roy’s eye was fake, a mechanical eye (looking back, he didn’t have a pupil, just a reflection…) that was implanted on his mechanical face. Years back, Roy, in a fight with Randall Cohen, got half his face blown off. They repaired him, made it look a lot better, but underneath the latex composite is metal. With the technology from Dark Kelly, they made him a new eye. But why did he capture us and tell us that he was going to kill us? Why do most people in power like to fuck with me for?
